After everything else that's gone on in the past 2 weeks for Kath and me, all I want is a wee bit of good news or just calm. Instead I get told at work today that they messed up my paper work when transferring me from one project to the other. Translation, my next pay check will be for the last week of my work on the BJU project instead of the 2 weeks I was told it would be...when I asked about it...at the beginning of my training. This will be the 2nd time they've done this to me.
My trainer is a sweetheart and felt really bad that she had to tell me such wonderful news on a Friday. My thought is that they need to have better transfer procedures in place. So, on Monday I will ask her for the chain of command (CallTech operates in 4 or 5 states) and send them all a letter stating my displeasure with my situation. I'll look into the labor laws first and see what leverage they provide me to try and get them to put in writing an actual transfer policy so nobody else has to deal with this.
On a happier note, I've been trying to think of the positives about our upcoming move. Yes there are many, but I have to come to them in my own way and time. These are the 3 I came up with today:
1) The number of concert venues and potential to actually see some decent bands/performers.
2) I've always wanted to travel. Flying out of Charlotte is definitely cheaper than Columbia!
3) The club scene there is much cooler, with a wider variety, than Columbia.

Sali has to be getting on your nerves!
I'm just trying not to do anything wrong so I can keep my job until I move. The prospect of moving makes working until we leave easier to bare. Once we move and get settled you should move to!
