In other news, our other plans for this week fell through. So why can you not hear me screaming all over Charlotte? Because my baby gave me a bath! When I got home from practice, she had already run me a bath. My dinner was done and a drink was waiting for me. Before you go all postal and start thinking I'm an asshole or something, I never request this sort of thing!! I don't think to ask for stuff like that, but I love it just the same. She does it just because or so she says and I am very grateful.
It's rare that I will hold still long enough to take a bath (I even dance in the shower I'm so hyper). It's even rarer still that I will let someone bath me. But sit still I did. Now I'm all clean, toes have been scrubbed with a brush and I'm all soft and junk. I need to go find some clothes to put on and go eat my dinner. Yeah, I know it's late. We had scheduled a day off for houseguest. No houseguest = day off! So we're gonna stay up tonight just because we can. Then sleep in for a bit in the morning. Feast on a breakfast of fresh pears and cheese for brunch. Then plan our day as we see fit.
Sometimes, it's good when plans fall through...sometimes.
