Where do I start? The weekend was absolutely (to borrow a queeny word) fabu! I guess the mere fact that I was able to coordinate a total of 6 gay "kids" in two different cars to leave, on time even, for a road trip to Albany, NY was pretty fuckin' sweet. I must admit though I made a ::slight:: miscalculation in time.

It takes approximately 16 hours to get to Albany from Columbia, SC. I did some figuring and came up with the departure time of 4 PM. According to my calculations we would arrive between noon and 1 PM. I'll give you a sec to do the math......so what time did we get to Albany? Around oh say 6 AM! With registration time starting at 4 PM we had a problem. So we decided to just wait at the campus for the boys to get there. Oh yeah, I guess I didn't mention two significant factors that madfe this road trip's success even more imptressive.....1) we didn't have an address for the school, contact info for the host AND we (I) left the one copy of the conference schedule at home. 2) We divided the up in two groups...the girls in one car (Angela, Kathy and myself) and the guys in another (Chris, Jeff and Phillip).

Back to the tale. So we waited for the guys in a parking lot on campus at SUNY-Albany. After waiting for about 45 minutes for the guys we went to McDonald's for breakfast. (Footnote: The McDonalad's worker mentality is indeed nationwide....absolutely STUPID!!!). After such a long ride can I just say that McDonald's hotcakes w/ hashbrowns is a most fantasic breakfast! Almost done with breakfast we finally get a call from the guys and off we go to meet them. They had finally gotten to Albany (they decided to stop a couple of times so they were about 2 hours behind us....they had also gotten pulled somewhere in Virginia for suspicion of drunken driving [which was actually a case of sleepiness]).

We finally get the guys. Go to the student center at SUNY-Albany. Find the conference coordinator. Pay our fees and get info on our hotel. We drive to the hotel only to find out that we will have to wait until 2 PM to check in. Seeing as how it was merely 9 AM we unanamously decided to park in the shade and fuckin' sleep until our rooms were ready.

I'll stop here for now....more details soon.

On another note, that damned red-head has got me sooo strung out! I don't know what I'm going to do about her. She has totally rocked my world (in every way imaginable)! I have fallen for her undeniably. The details on everything will unfold in the tale I am spinning about our trip to Albany. Life's binaries are a bitch, but they don't have to be the parameters in which you live your life.
