Work is letting us leave at 3 today instead of 5:30!! Means I will be able to get on the road sooner and to my friends in ATL. I have missed seeing everybody and have been looking forward to tonight for a while.

I managed to lose my cellphone in San Francisco yesterday while on my way to the airport...doh!! Apparently, my karmic debt must be at a beautiful balance though and for that I am incredibly thankful. My phone was actually found by a (new to our country) student attending Berkeley. She contacted the last person I contacted (my Auntie Melissa) and left her phone number for me to contact her. Called her and got an email address to send her my mailing info.

I was coherent enough to remind the nice lady to shut my phone off because I have two early morning alarms set for Monday through Friday. No reason she should suffer for her kindness. The point of this rambling little note my friends? If you desire to contact me in the next 72 hours or so, you'll have to go old school...email, letter, postcard, carrier pigeon...you get the idea.

This is only the 2nd time I've lost my phone in the two years I've had it and the 2nd time someone found it and returned it. Just when I think it's time to give up the good fight and join the barbarians at the gate, humanity lights a candle.

I offer you this gem

I know, I should be thinking of the present. Why am sitting at my desk, what I should be working on and I am to some extent. However, I cannot help but wish for the end of my work day today. At the end of my work day, I get to hop in the car and drive down to Macon to visit willowrrain!!

Moving on, my new Jawbone arrived yesterday!!! I will post pics sometime this weekend. I haven't really had a chance to test it out yet, but I tend to talk on my roadtrips so I'm sure it'll get a workout today. I HIGHLY recommend reading the manual FIRST before tinkering with it...especially the part regarding removal of the ear pads.

My iPod was trying to make me kill it, but it is doing my bidding now so I win. The iPod is a must have for roadtrips, especially if I am driving by myself.

Work has been stressful this week, but I am thankful that I have a job to get up everyday and go to. I am loved and love many. I have beautiful friends, an absolutely amazing wife, a cute dog and a place to lay my head at night. When it seems like my world is bad, I step back take a good look at it and see that my world is a really good one.

So I have been trying for three days to get into my website, but WordPress says I have the wrong password. I know I have the right password. I have tried to rest the password, but when I am emailed the password rest link, I get a message saying the link doesn't work.

I have tried finding a resolution to the issue online, but the couple of fixes I have found regarding this issue require updating the WordPress version on my server, but I need to be careful not to overwrite certain files....and then it is all Greek to me after that.

The other thing that may be part of the problem is that I am using GoDaddy as my host. Yes, I know now that GoDaddy and WordPress aren't a good match. It didn't know that going into this little venture that is making me crazy now.

So, if any of you can help me resolve this I would be super appreciate. Also, if you know of any hosting companies I could switch to that work easier with WordPress let me know especially if they are kink-friendly/kink-owned. Does anyone know if I switch hosting companies will the new one assist (and by assist I mean move it for me) me in moving what I have up now?
