qtip at 11:35am on 13/12/2001I just finished my last final for this semester. I also got back my second project for this class. We had 3 projects that will count 40% of our grade. I got a 30 out of a possible 100 on this project. I got a 20 on the first one. So as it stands there is no possible way to dig myself out of this hole.
It would be one thing if I didn't try in this class, but I did. That just makes it even worse. You expect to get a crappy grade if you do crappy work. I did my best on this project and got a 30!! I don't know whether to cry or just drop out. I really can't take the stress any more. I am sick of the run around you get just trying to register for classes. I still don't have my JOUR 531 class. It would have been the last class I needed to graduate. Since that's not happening I really don't care about it now. Their (the college of journalism) solution to my 531 dilemma is to send me course offerings through the mail. At the very bottom of this list is a 531 class that will meet over both summer sessions but only three days a week as opposed to the standard 4 day a week summer schedule. To add insult to injury it meets at 8:00 AM. That's just fucking wrong.
So as it stands, I'll be deciding over the Christmas break if school is really for me. I have networked enough that I could get an entry level position with some company somewhere.
