Well, I so wanted to see the end of this week. It's been long and stressful emotionally. So Friday comes and wouldn't you know it. Yet one more crisis rears its ugly head. My boss comes over and informs me that I won't be getting a paycheck this week. Since my training class ended on the day after the pay period ended, I would have to wait until the Aug. 9. I will have been working there for over a month before I get my first paycheck! Dammit! I started to have a panic attack. I went and talked to the HR person, who's a bitch, and she offered no other remedy/explanation for me. If I didn't get this money I was screwed! Needless to say I got no paycheck.

I called Kathy in a complete panic, in tears. She tried to get me to calm down, but to no avail. Then I started spiraling. It's never pretty when that happens. So I go back in to work, distraught and depressed. I call Kathy back later and she is really chipper. She tells me everything is ok and we'll be fine. Her boss gave us the money to cover our shit until I get paid. It's actually pretty substantial amount. I can't believe that someone would be so generous and I'm incredibly thankful.

Went out last nite and did some serious flirting. Forgot to eat dinner, so the four drinks I had made me sick. Yes, I am a dork. I'm going out tonight with roonie and her hubby tonight to see petzilla. Hopefully I'll only repeat one half of my previous evening.
