I almost forgot to post about my weekend.

Our trip to the zoo Saturday was fabulous! If you haven't been to the zoo here in Columbia lately, you really should try to visit soon. It's been remodeled extensively. The only thing missing were the lemurs. *pout* AnywaySaturday night we just lounged around the hous. We had notions of doing laundry, but that never came to fruition.

Sunday, Kathy and I drove down to Charleston to celebrate Kathy and her mom's birthday. Dinner at Outback with her folks and her brothers...and Piper. Dinner was great, but family moments make botn of us irritable right now. I finally told Joey that I don't hate him, but we will talk later. I actually gave Piper a goodbye hug. I figure I gotta get used to her sometime, because apparently she's NEVER going away. I think it had more to do w/ seeing their wedding video. I don't know why, but I felt no more need to be hostile or guarded...weird.

Anyway, work is ...well work. Things are slowing down. Insurance kicks in soon and we go to 6 o'clock closing beginning nrext week (I was so hoping it was this week!) In other news, I went back to my old hairstyle! If I really feel up to it, I may post some pics of my haircut tonight.

Apparently, I'm a bit more ambitious than I gave myself credit for. Here some pics of my haircut.
