qtip at 11:50am on 04/12/2004Well, much to my surprise and relief (of sorts) my stepdad's car is sitting in the driveway and the key is on Kathy's key ring. My mother rarely fails to disappoint me. However, I've never really given my stepdad the opportunity to be my knight in shining armour. So when I called yesterday, I expected him to say no and I wouldn't have been surprised at all. I was taken completely off guard when he said yes to loaning us the Intrepid.
The Intrepid has a name. It's Bessie. The Intrepid is my stepdad's baby. It's probably 5 years old, but he still Armour All's the interior weekly. It's immaculate.
So we have a car to use until ours is completely fixed, should be around Monday or Tuesday...hopefully. My only plans for today: 1) fold and put away all the clean laundry; 2) Watch The Story of O, Killer Clowns from Outerspace, Latter Days and Hellboy (in no particular order).
