I have a dilemma, one that I haven't had to worry about for a while now...what to wear to an event, specifically Frolicon. I have spent so much time (and have come to really enjoy) in classic leather boi attire over the past two years I haven't really had to plan on wearing much else outside of work. My Sir is allowing me to dress as I please for this event. So I sit here 13 days out from Frolicon thinking, what the hell am I gonna wear?!

There is a great deal of freedom that comes with planning for an event and knowing exactly what you have to wear. It makes packing expeditious, sometimes lightens the luggage load and is always "in style". Plus it helps me focus more on service and tasks at hand than which outfit I need to wear when. I am so happy to be a leather boi when it comes to clothing!

Anyway, I am figuring I need at least four outfits, two for Friday and Saturday during the day. Two different outfits for Friday and Saturday nights. Yes I know I will need clothing for Thursday and Sunday, but they will be my relaxed look days so no worries there. I am fairly certain Saturday night will find me wearing a rather formal out fit that will include a tuxedo jacket I was gifted a few months back. I actually think that outfit is shaping up nicely and will flow into my responsibilities for that evening well.

If all goes as planned, I should have a pair of Syren latex Sailor Front pants to wear. I'm just not sure what to wear with them. I think Saturday's day attire will center around my BDU pants. It's my most hectic day and there are lots of pockets for things I may want to carry. That leaves Friday day up in the air. I am sure I'll have it all nailed down by the end of this coming week.

Oh don't forget, I'm presenting two workshops at Frolicon. If you miss ether of those come by the dungeon during the women's only play party. I'll be working for a bit there!

Here's the remainder of the questions I was asked previously and my answers:

What's the worst flesh wound/mark/physical repercussion that you've had from a scene?

Was the above worth it?

I had six rather large, rather painful bite marks along the inside of my thighs. I received from a very *cough*sweet*cough* boi. It took a few weeks for them to go away. Yes, it was worth it! Play for me seems to be very cathartic. The pain, the tears were a good thing.

OK I'll bite... why the white/light hair?

I wish I had some super cool story to go with my hair color, but I don't. The truth of it is when I was 21 I dated someone who tried to change me into what she wanted both in appearance and attitude. The hair color was the only thing in that failed transformation that I truly liked, so I kept it. It was more of a dark blonde for a long time, but over the years I figured out how to lighten it more and more. When I figured how to get it to the color it is now, I kept it that way.

what is your favorite memory having to do with being useful or in service?

It actually from outside of the leather community, my favorite moment would have to be the last day of school at the elementary school my City Year team was based at. There were several older kids who sought me out through out the course of the day and wanted to talk about their plans for the future. These were kids who had been difficult for their teachers to deal with in the classroom so they were sent to spend time with me in a one-on-one setting. They were so stubborn and angry, many of them with good reason, when we first spent time together. As time progressed there were small changes in some and much bigger changes in others, most for the better. To hear them even thinking about their future was wonderful. Some of the kids parents sought me out to thank me for spending time with their kid(s) and tell me the changes they saw.

It was a year of service I gave to my community and I know that I made an impact.

What did you do with the green shoe polish??

I used it when I tested layering polish colors. I did two coats of black first then the green and continued adding color and black polish in alternating layers. I can't say that I could see the green (which is probably good) but the depth of the shine was definitely deeper with the colors.

That's the last of the questions I've received so far. Gotta question? Ask me here: http://lzbnangel.livejournal.com/614286.html.
