Well we managed to watch Story of O and Killer Clowns from Outerspace. Story of O was so sorely lacking. The book is much better. I'd actually like to see Merchant Ivory remake it and then someone with a more modern flare. Killer Clowns was sooo bad that it was hysterical!

Finally touched base with Mistress LunaSea and guess I will definitely be making an appearance at Purgatory.

I guess I'll get to the laundry in the morning.

BTW anybody have a Santa suit laying around?

I liked Story of O, for its time it was remarkably ground breaking. If you're interested in something a bit more modern I would suggest 'Preaching to the Perverted'!

Thanks Pet. I'll see if I can find it on Netflix. I really like that service. I do think for the time it was done, it was pretty good. However, having worked for 3 years at a movie theater w/ a bunch of film school nerds, I understand the potential it could have.

Will you be at FFP tomorrow?

What timing! That's the next movie on my list. I added it a few months ago when I saw that it was recommended along the lines of "But I'm a Cheerleader" and "Pecker" and even "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert." I'm glad that it comes recommended by a real person, too... and hopefully won't be the disappointment that "Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter" was despite the pro-latex-lesbian vibe.

It was OK. It was made in the 70's, so for the 70's it was fairly good. I sat here critiquing it for the technical aspects and how far it deviated from the book.

I meant "Preaching to the Perverted"... I try to avoid even the classic "erotica" from the 1970s. Now classic "porn" is a different matter... ;-)

'Preaching to the Perverted' is a ton of fun and incredibly hot fetish fashion wise!! I'd place it closer to "Priscilla' than the other two. I haven't seen it yet but I hope to soon the movie "Saved" looks like it is close along the ties of "But I'm a Cheerleader" which I loved!

I own Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter and as long as you dfon't expect much and have fun with it you'll enjoy it, it's also a musical! If you are looking for something really silly and not very good but something to just watch and MST3K with try 'Curse of the Queerwolf' (yes I own that one to!!) or 'Evil Alien Conquerer'!

I look forward to "Preaching to the Perverted," now, and will have to check out those others, too. Gotta love musicals. I almost gave in and got my own copy of "JCVH" over the following scene:

Jesus (lining up his stakes for more vampire hunting): "I'm trying to help some lesbians."

Talking Nightlight of the Virgin Mary: "God love them, they get so much done in a day."
