NOTE:Less than 7 hours of sleep over 2 days + 2 shifts at work + a road trip to Charlotte = Complete delerium

I wouldn't change it though. My crappy past couple of weeks all seem not so crappy. Good company makes a world of difference! I had a blast at Fun Freaky People. You guys are uber fun to hang out with.

Actually, the the fetish/BDSM scene in Charlotte,NC is reaaly cool and rapidly expanding. Charlotte's only an hour and a half away so I usually go up there for a varied amount of events...some weekly...some monthly..some bi-monthly. My fav event to attend is Purgatory www.purgatory-theshow.com

You also have to realize that I live in the Deep South. All the kinksters are sort of in hiding unless they live in Atlanta or Charlotte. We just aren't as organized yet AND living in the Bible Belt doesn't foster a sense of openess and acceptance.

Ah... *nodding* I meant scene as in the local happenings and leather lifestyle as in well what folks do & live regarding their leather loves. I go to http://www.wetspot.org here in Seattle mostly. There's other venues but none as nice. There are parties 3-4 nights a week there. Seattle's a pretty liberal city so there's a lot of public education, outreach at local colleges, and even with the police regarding consensual BDSM. People seem to hook up at parties, at non-sm related queer events & meetings, through friends, and on the internet here for kinky fun... I've met several partners at the Wet Spot, butch femme gatherings, kinky parties, friends parties, and even from volunteering. Sometimes when I'm bored I log into bondage.com free site and post in the forums about sm stuff.

I do really well with questions so if you have any about SM or related stuff or life stuff, please just ask.
